Kay Bui
Speech Pathologist
Kay Bui is an experienced and compassionate Speech Pathologist who specialises in working with school-aged children with developmental language disorders, literacy difficulties, and specific learning difficulties.
With several years of experience in various settings, Kay has made a significant difference in the lives of many children. Her expertise has helped these children overcome communication and learning challenges, leading to their academic and social success. Kay's professional journey encompasses diverse roles in not-for-profit organisations, multidisciplinary practices (i.e., PosAbility, LifeStart), and public and private schools (i.e., MUSEC) all focused on supporting pre-schoolers and school-age students.
Kay has and continues to work with a wide range of students with complex communication difficulties, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Developmental Language Disorder, and Specific Learning Difficulties (e.g. dyslexia and dysgraphia).
Kay’s approach to therapy is holistic and affirmative. She collaborates with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop tailored treatment plans that address each child's unique needs. Her approach is grounded in evidence-based practice, ensuring her commitment to learning and professional development.
